Victoria’s Vinos y Vermuteria, located in Coconut Grove, is the first vermouth bar in Miami.
Miami has a new type of wine bar, and it just might become your favorite cozy spot in town. Remember the iconic milkshakes of Vicky’s next to LoKal on Commodore Plaza in the Grove? Like the era they represented, they are now a thing of the past. In the same space, offering something easier to sip is a European-style wine bar, with a selection of exclusive vermouths and eclectic wines from around the world.
Victoria’s Vinos y Vermouth is a concept by Matt Kuscher, also of LoKal and the former Vicky’s, along with his several other Kush Hospitality Group restaurants around town. Kuscher transformed the replica of his mother’s 80’s living room and kitchen, serving up decadent, overloaded milkshakes into a chic little Spanish-inspired bistro bar. Very much for adults only.
With a capacity of only 25, including a small bar and a couple lounge-y seating areas, Victoria’s is a Miami wine bar that will truly transport you across the Atlantic. If only for a few hours.
Victoria’s is the First Vermouth Bar in Miami
French and Spanish bistro music plays in the background as you peruse the menu or shelf for a vermouth to enjoy. Looking for something else? The beverage list also includes a curated selection of low-intervention wines and Spanish ciders. Lo-Fi Cabernet Franc from Santa Barbara is always a palate pleaser. It’s available by the glass.
The house vermouths include the Titi Marie and the La Mila. These are available by glass, or bottle, as is much of the menu. For those who have trouble deciding, or who may be new to vermouth, Victoria’s also offers several flight options. But don’t be afraid to ask DeAngelo behind the bar for his suggestions. Tell him what you like to drink, and he is sure to come up with a proper option. He really knows his vermouths!
Happy hour is Wednesday-Friday from 6pm-8pm, and includes buy one, get one glass or bottle of the wine of the week, or house vermouth. The regular special available during opening hours is a complimentary pan con tomate with the purchase of a bottle of the house Titi Marie vermouth. Feeling nibbly? The small snack menu is just that—small bites like onion dip and chips, cheese and charcuterie, or even some caviar if you wish.
Victoria’s is perfect for date night drinks or a pre/post dinner libation. If you live in the Grove, this could very easily be a regular pop-in neighborhood place.
Don’t take our word for it. You must experience this charming vermouth bar in Miami for yourself.
Open Wednesday – Sunday, 5pm-close.
