Zeru Miami, a new Basque restaurant in Brickell, is starting a series of regular wine dinners at their chic location across from the AKA Hotel off Brickell Avenue.
Each of these wine dinners will follow a theme that includes either a highlighted winery or a guest chef to the restaurant. The first of these gastronomic dinners was held on Thursday, July 6th with La Rioja Alta as the featured winery, along with paired dishes by Zeru Chefs Gabriella Guitron and Israel Aretxiga.
These wine dinners are different in that guests are not expected to arrive at one time and share a large table with a single presentation, but are encouraged to make their own reservations to attend any time between 7pm-9pm and enjoy a private dining experience through the paired meal. For the recent La Rioja Alta dinner, Zeru’s General Manager Alex Moredia, and La Rioja Alta’s North American Export Manager, José Navarro, guided the guest experience through each course.
