  • Scotch Kings with Rob Ferrara: Wednesday, 6th April, 7pm @ Vinya Wine & Market (Key Biscayne)

Join Vinya for a very special, boozy tasting with expert whisky ambassador, Robert Ferrara of Pernod-Ricard. Discover what makes Scotch unlike any other whisky in the world and explore (and sip!) multiple styles: from blended to single, from malt to grain, to 12-Year and beyond. So, bring a whisky-loving friend, put on your best Hogwarts accent, and get ready to take a deep-dive into all things Scotch!

  • Discovering Styles of Sake Tasting: Friday, 7th April, 7-9pm @ 305 Wines

An opportunity for Sake lovers to come together and experience the wide range of styles this fascinating beverage is produced in.  In addition to covering the principal styles of Sake, participants will also learn how the beverage is made and get some Sake and food pairing tips by tasting some light bites.  The tasting will be led by Guilherme de Macedo, Master Sake Sommelier, WSET Sake Educator, Florida Wine Academy’s resident Sake expert.

  • 2016, the greatest vintage! Barolo vs. Brunello 2016: Friday, 8th April, 7PM @ Wine by the Bay

Can you tell which wine is Natural and which wine is not? Join Vinya to taste through a flight of 3 pairs (that’s 6 wines!) and put your natural wine senses to the test! Learn what makes a wine “Natural,” and what smells and flavors they typically possess. This is an educational-forward and interactive tasting led by expert sommelier, Allegra Angelo of Vinya Wine. Set yourself apart from your peers. Specialize in the wines of France. 

The French Wine Scholar Study and Certification program provides current, accurate and in-depth information on the wines and wine regions of France. Developed and administrated by the Wine Scholar Guild with the support of the French Ministry of Agriculture, this specialization program is designed for advanced students of wine, whether professionals or serious wine hobbyists. Students of wine who follow this in-depth curriculum and pass the exam will earn the French Wine Scholar title and FWS post-nominal.

  • Green Day Miami Shores Festival: Saturday, 30th April, 2:30-7:30pm @ NE 2nd Ave, featuring Flight Wine Lounge

NE 2nd Ave in Miami Shores will be closed to feature lots of vendors (plants, jewelry, food, eco-goods, etc.) Flight Wine Lounge will have an outdoor wine bar set up. It is a free event with great stuff for adults, kids & pets. Rain or Shine. 2:30-7:30pm
