Slip into summer with a bottle of BY. OTT rosé.
Nothing says summer like sitting on a beach somewhere in the South of France and gazing out into the Mediterranean while sipping on rosé.
Unfortunately, not all of us are lucky enough to jet off to the South of France for the season, but we can enjoy a refreshing Provençal rosé almost anytime we want.
Enter Domaines Ott and their many top-notch rosés. From Côtes de Provence AOC to their famous Bandol AOC rosé in its distinguishable bottle, Domines Ott sells not only a quality wine, but a South of France feeling and lifestyle.
BY.OTT Rosé 2021
This particular wine is one of the more economical bottles from Domaines Ott, with the same quality control as the higher end wines. It’s produced in the Château de Selle cellar, which is also dedicated to the Château de Selle Côtes de Provence rosé in the iconic Ott bottle. The grapes are sourced from both Château de Selle and Clos Mireille. The blend of BY. OTT rosé is 62% Grenache, 21% Cinsault, 6% Syrah, and 5% Mourvèdre. Cousins, and fourth-generation winemakers of Domaines Ott, Jean-Francois and Christian Ott, control the winemaking process from start to finish.
BY.OTT rosé is a lovely pale salmon color with bright and fresh orange and summer strawberry aromas and flavors. It’s lively and crisp, yet soft in the mouth, with a long red berry and citrus finish.
While we may not be lucky enough to drink Domaines Ott rosé in the South of France this year, we can still feel it by closing our eyes and imagining we are there. Right? OK, maybe that’s not as romantic, but you get the idea. It’s just as easy to drink it while sitting on Miami Beach and gazing into the Atlantic.
At the very least, this is a rosé to enjoy well chilled, so as to keep cool and refreshed during the hot summer months ahead.
